Kennedy Amungo is a Kenyan photographer and visual storyteller with over five years of experience in photography and videography. Based in Kenya, he specializes in capturing wildlife, sports, and human-interest stories, blending creativity with powerful narratives. His journey began with sketching cameras in his early photography classes, eventually evolving into a career dedicated to visual storytelling.

Kennedy’s work has earned multiple recognitions, including winning the Canon Street Photography Award (2018) and placing in prestigious sports photography contests across Africa. His skills were further refined through the Canon-Miraisha program, where he transitioned from freelancing to photojournalism, capturing diverse stories that expanded both his artistic and cultural perspective.

Currently, Kennedy works with a chain of luxurious hotels, guiding guests through the process of shooting and post-production to help them create stunning visual stories. Beyond photography, he enjoys solitude, traveling, and exploring investment opportunities to support his creative pursuits. He is also a member of Ruaraka Rising Stars, actively giving back to the community through their annual end-of-year tournament.
